Welcome to the registration page for the Hydrology & Water Resources Symposium 2025 (HWRS 2025)

All persons intending to attend the Symposium must complete the online Registration Form.

Please read the registration information below before completing the Registration Form. Should you experience any difficulties, please contact the Symposium Managers at register.hwrs@arinexgroup.com.

The welcome reception, conference dinner and Munro Oration night are inclusive in all full registration categories.

Early Bird Registration
To be entitled to the early registration fee you must have registered and paid by 25 August 2025, 11:59 pm AEST.

Member Registration
Member registration rates apply to all valid Engineers Australia (EA) members. An EA member ID is required to be provided upon registration. The full non-member rate will be charge without a valid EA ID.

Student / Retiree Registration
Student Registration
The following definition is related for the following student / retiree rate. A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card (submitted in English). Student ID may be requested upon checking in to the workshop.

Retiree Registration
This category is available to individuals who are fully retired and no longer engaged in any paid professional work; proof of retired status, such as a letter confirming retirement or a statement from a former employer, may be requested.

Visa Requirements
All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia. Please note that, for international participants, to obtain an Australian visa an invitation letter is not required. Once you have registered and paid the registration fees in full then your confirmation of registration or tax invoices for payment of registration fees are sufficient to lodge with your visa application.

Note – it is strongly recommended that Australian visa applications are lodged at least 2-3 months prior to departure from your port of origin.

Welcome Letter
If you require a welcome letter to support your visa application, please register and pay for the conference. From there, we will be able to issue to you a welcome letter. Should you require further assistance contact us at register.hwrs@arinexgroup.com. Please advised that this may not guarantee your visa application approval.

Registration Terms & Conditions

Full Conference registrations receive the following:

  • Morning, lunch and afternoon break catering
  • Access to the Symposium Program
  • Access to the Welcome Reception
  • 1 inclusive ticket to the Conference Dinner and 1 inclusive ticket to the Munro Oration Dinner
  • Entry to the trade exhibition across the Symposium days

Day registrations receive the nominated day/s:

  • Morning, lunch and afternoon break catering
  • Access to the Symposium Program
  • Entry to the trade exhibition for the nominated day/s

Registration confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email with a confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will only be processed or confirmed if payment accompanies your form.

Name badge

Each delegate of the Symposium will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Symposium Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Credit Card

Please note the preferred payment method for online registrations is by credit card, but there is the option to request a tax invoice.  Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex’.

Tax Invoice Option

Payment via Tax Invoice is available and can be issued upon registration. All tax invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice issue date.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Symposium Managers at register.hwrs@arinexgroup.com

Registration

Cancellations before Monday 25 August 2025 will incur a A$150.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations from Monday 25 August 2025 to Wednesday 15 October 2025 will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations on or after Thursday 16 October 2025 will receive no refund.

Social
Payments are non-refundable as at Thursday 16 October 2025.

The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Symposium timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Symposium Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

The Symposium Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Symposium for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Symposium and/or its content at their sole discretion.

The Organiser of HWRS 2025 (the “Event”) reserve the right to remove from the venue/Event at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid. Please view the Code of Conduct here, which all attendees are expected to comply with.
