Submissions
On behalf of the HWRS 2025 Technical Committee and the Organising Committee, we welcome abstract submissions from all hydrology and water resource sectors for consideration as an oral or poster format for the 2025 Scientific Program.

Instructions for Preparing Your Full Paper
- Full paper must be submitted via the evexus abstract submission portal. Email submissions will not be accepted.
- Full papers must be submitted in English.
- Full paper submissions must be prepared using the HWRS 2025 full paper template
- Full papers must be uploaded in the portal as a PDF file.
- It is the responsibility of the submitting author to ensure that the submission has been approved by all authors.
- The Organising and Technical Committees will not be responsible for any errors published.
- Submission of an Extended abstracts will be restricted to researchers who are intending to publish in a peer reviewed journal, or policy related work (e.g. from Government agencies)* The Extended Abstract should be at least three (3) pages in length, including illustrations, appendices, and biography, and following the same template as the Full Paper.
Submitting Your Full Paper
Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure your submission is uploaded into the evexus abstract submission portal correctly. The following information and instructions are only applicable to accepted HWRS 2025 abstract submission. For any queries, contact us at hwrs@arinexgroup.com.
Once you have logged into the abstract submission portal, click the ‘Submit’ button to access the submission page. You will be required to provide the following details prior to submitting your abstract:
- Full Paper Title
- Upload your full paper as a PDF. Ensure that this abstract uses the HWRS 2025 full paper template.
- Add any additional emails to the email correspondence box (any email addresses entered here will be included in the correspondence emails that are sent to you).
- Enter the name and organisation of all co-presenters and co-authors.
- Ensure you indicate the presenting author(s) for the abstract and include a brief biography. The biography should be no more than 100 words (optional).
- Answer the additional questions.
General Policies and Requirements
- Full paper submission must be submitted in the evexus abstract submission portal by 16 July 2025, 11:59 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
- Full papers will not be accepted via fax, email, mail or USB/CD.
- All required fields on the online submission form must be completed.
- All presenting authors will be required to register and pay for the Symposium to ensure that their abstract(s) are included in the final program.
- It is the responsibility of the submitting author to ensure that the abstract is submitted correctly.
- After an author has submitted their full paper, they must check their submission to ensure the document has been uploaded correctly.
- Authors can check their submission by clicking on the viewing option in the submission form.
- The Symposium Managers, Organising and Technical Committee will not be held responsible for abstract submissions not received via the website or for submission errors caused by internet services outages or other unforeseen events.
