Symposium Theme:
Charting resilient futures

The 43rd Hydrology and Water Resources Symposium will bring together experts, industry professionals, community leaders and policy practitioners from Australia and the Asia-Pacific region to explore the state of current hydrology and water knowledges that can inform decision-making. Amid mounting impacts from climate change, floods, droughts, storms, fires, water quality and distribution issues, developing resilient communities and ecosystems across urban, rural and remote areas has never been more important.
The Symposium will look at what knowledge and practices are needed to support effective water engineering, management and policy outcomes, and how more resilient futures can be collectively designed in an increasingly complex, contested and uncertain world.
